Health is the new wealth. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has been known for its health benefits for centuries and in this blog we'll share some of the many health benefits with you.
We all know that it is a Kiwi tradition to go on a summer camping holiday! Did you know that a couple of bottles of our vinegar could be your best camping buddy? Read on to find out why!
Tip 1 – keep it handy for stings. Apple cider vinegar is known to reduce bee venom and also has antiseptic properties. Soak the sting for around 15 minutes, or soak a bandage and apply.
Tip 2 – dilute and use to clean up stinky fishy hands! Been fishing? Smelling a bit fishy? Give your hands a dunk in a basin of diluted apple cider vinegar to help remove the odour!
Tip 3 – on the subject of fishing – our apple cider vinegar is great in a fish ceviche! Or use in a marinade or dressing with any of your favourite camping dishes! Try our kiwifruit vinegar to for something new and delicious!
Tip 4 – got a bit sunburned? Our kiwi sun can be pretty harsh and despite our best efforts, sometimes it gets the better of us. Dilute apple cider vinegar in water and either spray to the affected area or gently dab with a washcloth. This may help to soothe skin.
